Abstract
|
|
|
A case of tuberculous meningitis where the cerebrospinal fluid contained 5.000㎎
protein per 100㎖, is reported. Such high amounts of protein is seldom found in this
disease. The relationship between the protein content and other biochemical,
bacteriological and cytological findings in the cerebrospinal fluid from some cases of
tuberculous meningitis, is disussed.
No relationship between the protein content on the one side and the concentration of
chloride and sugar or the number of leucocytes on the other side, could be detected.
